Malbork Castle (Poland): A short walk around the largest brick castle in the world!

Malbork castle (Poland), the Castle of the Teutonic Order, is the largest castle in the world by surface area. The castle is a classic example of a medieval fortress and, on its completion in 1406, was the world's largest brick castle. UNESCO designated the "Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork" and the Malbork Castle Museum a World Heritage Site in December 1997. It is only half an hour drive from Elblag, my hometown, so it was an obvious choice to visit it! It is a beautiful place and a very interesting site full of history. Join us!
